Ways to Give
Each year, Book’em places reading volunteers in dozens of classrooms in Nashville’s inner city and gives tens of thousands of books to underserved children. There is still so much more that needs to be done. Please consider donating money, books, or volunteer time and helping us spread the word about the great need in our city.
Book'em can use new, like-new, and very gently used children’s books in great condition - from board books to chapter books (ages 0-18). Please visit our book donation page for more information.
Every $2.50 provides a book to a child in need. Book'em works with wholesale book vendors, publishing companies, and local booksellers to ensure low costs and maximize every dollar donated towards our mission. Our volunteers are our most valuable resource. Book’em needs volunteers to help process books for distribution, assist with special events, help with administrative work, and to serve as reading role models in elementary and preschools as well as volunteers.
